No frozen products, no shortcuts. Just the true taste of seafood cuisine as it used to be — and as it still is here.
Salvatore and Maria opened La Romantica in Berlin, bringing Italian flavors to Germany. Today Fabio and Daniele have given new life to that name, on the seafront of Villamarina, where the historic Osteria “I Puret” once stood, with a menu and concept dedicated to the sea and to enjoying time at the table.
Here, fish arrives fresh every morning. The rest is done by the hands of those who cook and the will to do things properly.
In the kitchen, dishes that tell of the sea and the Adriatic coast: monfettini in fish broth, spaghetto with clams, the gran fritto. Simplicity, quality ingredients, and care for people — nothing else.
The owner Fabio greeted us with incredible kindness and impeccable professionalism in choosing the dishes. A superb raw seafood platter — you can tell the fish is truly fresh from the sea. Chef Daniele is genuine and talented. I would come back every day.
The staff is always smiling, attentive to every detail without ever being intrusive: you feel welcomed as if at home. The freshest fish, top-quality ingredients. From starter to dessert, everything was flawless. Well done!
Homemade spaghetti with clams — outstanding, the best I have ever had. Fabio, a superb host, welcomed us with great warmth. We were so delighted that we immediately booked another table to return two days later.
